Why It Is a Bad Idea to Write a Blog on a Youtube Live Stream

Hello everyone, I’m writing this blog while on my fourth attempt of streaming live to youtube. Let me tell ya, it was a fucking mess. Honestly, this could not have gone any worse. Within this blog, I shall detail everything that went wrong, and why you should avoid at all costs. But go still watch the streams because it is good for the watch hours on youtube.

Lesson 1: If you are going live, be sure to have wifi

Now this may seem like an obvious statement, but that’s a big part of going live. Having no wifi in your studio where you plan to shoot videos and livestream is not a great idea, for multiple reasons, the big one being, you can’t fucking use the internet without it! So learn from my mistakes, and use wifi when you are trying to stream.

Lesson 2: Don’t try a new streaming software you have never used before without practice

Again, this one may seem obvious, but you’d be surprised how often people try to do things and figure it out as they go. This often leads to things not working how they are supposed to, because you don’t have any fucking experience working with the software. So guys, learn how to use the software before committing to anything. That’s a lesson for life too.

Lesson 3: You spoil the blog and then no one goes to the website to read it

This one is a bit tricky. Much like ole Tricky Dick himself. Cause you wanna make content, but you also want to write blogs for your comedy website. Where is the line being drawn!? Do you want people to read the blogs, or watch the videos? Honestly it doesn’t really matter, if they care enough, they’ll do both.

Lesson 4: Come up with ideas before hand

Once again, the “come up with it as you go” mentality is not great for engaging content. Sure you may have thought it was a funny idea to live stream you writing a blog post and come up with the conclusions as you go on, but it’s kinda made the live stream less interesting because you already hit on all your topics.

Ok, I think 4 lessons are enough. Thank you for reading or watching this blog be written, I hope you gained something from it. Pls subscribe to Paradizo Films on youtube. Talk to ya soon!
